Peace Knit Dishcloth Pattern
PEACE and joy for a Happy Holiday! This dishcloth has the capital letters P-E-A-C-E arranged in a diagonal from the upper left corner to the bottom right.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
Size note: This dishcloth is just a little bit larger than my other patterns, so you’ll need a little bit more yarn than usual. Be sure to start with a fresh ball so you don’t run out.
Lefty knitters, please note: The design is not symmetrical and contains letters so lefty knitters may need to make some adjustments depending upon their knitting style. If your style is mirrored of righty knitters, then you will need to knit each row right-to-left rather than the usual left-to-right.
