Oil Lamp Knit Dishcloth Pattern

Light the way with this old-fashioned oil lamp. This design is a flame inside a hurricane-style lamp with a loop for a handle on the right.
The design is nearly symmetrical, but lefty knitters may need to make some adjustments depending on their knitting style and if it matters which side the handle is on.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
