This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of four hearts arranged in a square. Two of the hearts are in garter stitch and the other two are in relief within a square of garter stitch.

The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.

The design is not symmetrical, so lefty knitters might need to make some adjustments depending on their knitting style and preferences for the arrangement of the squares.
